6 Apps All Female Drivers Need On Their Phones While Driving In Saudi

Avatar

With more and more females hitting the streets by the day with their rides, the need now is more than ever for them being armed with car-related apps that we men have been using for a long time.

Happy driving 🙂

1. Morni

The app can help you call roadside assistance with the click of a button. From flat tire replacement to even fuel delivery it does assist in many things – this one’s a lifesaver.

2. Zahma O La

Going to Bahrain through the King Fahd Causeway on a weekend is a thing that most of us living in Saudi have done at least once in our lives. So as expected the causeway remains jampacked during the weekends and at times it can take over four hours just to cross it. The Zahma O La app does just one thing and that is that it tells you if the causeway is crowded or not, which translates into Arabic as “Zahma O La.”

3. Careem/Uber

There are tons of ride-hailing apps in the country but they combined can’t match the popularity of these two. So just in case, God forbid your car breaks down or the heavy downpour is preventing you from driving your car then you can almost always count on these two ride-hailing apps with your eyes closed.

4. Najm

A must for car accidents. The app permits you to take photos of the accident through the app which can later be used as a proof of accident and even allows you to call a Najm inspector to the exact location that you are at. The inspection certificate by the Najm officer is a must to process your car insurance claims later.

5. Sygic

There are tons of navigation apps but once you use Sygic you’ll know why we have included it in our list. The best part is that it works offline and the 3D rendering of some places is commendable.

6. Mawgif

There are several paid parking spots across all major cities in the country and more often than not they are managed the Saudi government’s National Parking Company. The company runs an app called Mawgif and using this app users can locate the closest parking area. You can even use it as a digital wallet to pay for your hourly parking.
