The news of Mariah Carey coming to Saudi to perform has pretty much shocked a bunch of us but what you might not know is that she’s coming as part of the Saudi International event in Jeddah that starts this Thursday.

Golfers and enthusiasts of the sport were stoked to hear that the Saudi Golf Federation (yes, there is one) came up with a FAB concept.

It will be the first European Tour golf event to be held in Saudi Arabia.

Keep on scrolling for more info, esp if you live in Jeddah or close to it.

The world’s top three players will partake in the event (some are already in the Red Sea city)

World-class golfers known for their skills, such as: Bryson DeChambeau, Justin Rose and Dustin Johnson. Alongside these three great golfers will be the five other headliners attending the event.

Word has it, there’s even going to be a Q&A session wherein big names in the golfing world will answer fan questions.

Lush greens, the seaside and lotsa fun await at the event’s location

Look at that color!

Since the event’s going to be held at the fancy Royal Greens golf course in KAEC, this day is sure to get Insta-worthy real quick.

Four very well-known artists will perform across those 4 days

Like the Emirati singer Balqees, DJ Tiesto (HUUUGE DEAL), Sean Paul and last but most certainly not the least… Mariah Carey.

The first Saudi Professional Golfer will be there

Watch Othman Al Mulla in action as he plays opposite some of the best golfers in the world.

There will be competitions, entertainment and even golf lessons

Ever thought of learning how to swing and complete a hole at a golf club?

Well, since this tournament is so much more than any other, professional coaches from the Royal Greens Golf and Country will be available to teach you. Everyting from the golf swing’s set-up, gripping a club, all the way down to actually hitting a ball.

Delish options of food trucks will be available too!

What is a Saudi event if not without its delicious wide-range of culinary options?

Thankfully, this golf tournament is like a music festival since LOADS of food trucks are expected to be stationed on its grounds.

The Deets

Saudi International will run from this Thursday, the 31st of January until Sunday, the 3rd of February at the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in Jeddah’s King Abdullah Economic City.
