Egyptian football star, Mohammed ‘Mo’ Salah, won the incredible 2018 Puskás ‘Goal Of The Year’ Award at the annual FIFA Football Awards on Monday.
The individual goal that led to this victory was the Liverpool vs Everton match in the Merseyside derby back in December, reports say.
With Salah’s global star-power, it’s no surprise the mixed reactions from every country on the win.
But the Arab world, especially Saudis, were more than excited for his latest achievement.

One click on a FIFA-related hashtag or Salah’s name on Google might show you a few not-so-happy reactions to the win.
Some critics are saying that the Egyptian football star should not have won the award for that goal, insisting instead that it should have gone to Parvard or Bale.
Others were also adding that the goal wasn’t even Salah’s best, suggesting that he had better.
