Player Hassan Muaz Has Been Suspended For Two Years Along With A HEFTY Fine After Assaulting Hussain Abdulgheny

Al Ittihad’s player Hassan Moaz has been suspended from playing for two years and has to pay a hefty fine of SAR 100,000 following a brawl with player Al Hilal’s Hussein Abdel Ghani Najm Ahad on Saturday.

According to Dawri Plus, a verbal altercation between the veterans Abdul Ghani and Moaz took place, eventually resulting into a physical brawl in the hallway leading up to players’ locker rooms.

Turki Al Shaikh, chairman of General Sports Authority, tweeted a response…

“I asked sport authority’s specialists to coordinate with Al-Hilal club’s management to treat ‘Amori’ asap in the best facilities in the world. God help him. He’ll come back soon. Inshallah.”

Moaz’ suspension was announced by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation in an official statement on Sunday

Following investigations led by Turki Al Shaikh, the next day an official statement made its way on Twitter from the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF).
