Twitter was abuzz with a video of the Saudi opera singer, Sawsan Al Bahiti, during an evening at Boho Café in Jeddah yesterday night.

Sawsan is the first Saudi opera voice certified by the Saudi cultural ministry and a certified vocal coach from the New York Vocal Coaching Centre.

On the same day, Sawsan wrote on Twitter that “I have discovered a new treasure in the opera world in Saudi … wait for the surprise soon”.

Al Bahiti performed the National Anthem in an Operatic rendition during the opening of Biban Ha’il, which was organized by Monsha’at, the Kingdom’s Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority.
