Saudi Arabia’s significance in the games and sports world continues to grow – Princess Reema bint Bandar al-Saud has just been elected as a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

Her inclusion was approved on Friday during the sporting body’s 136th session

Princess Reema joined four other new members to take the sporting body’s total members to 105.

Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan, who currently serves as the ambassador to Washington, is also the Kingdom’s first female ambassador.

She has had a long involvement and career in sports in the Kingdom.
