A Saudi Woman Has Just Won In A Major International Taekwondo Competition

Saudi women have been making leaps in the world of sport recently and one more Saudi sportswoman has just made history.

A Saudi woman who is a taekwondo athlete has just won at an international tournament

Abrar Bukhari has won a bronze medal at the 10th edition of the Asian Junior Taekwondo Championships that was recently held in Jordan. She defeated an Emirati team player, marking her first win at the tournament.

Abrar also took part in the games last year

The sportswoman has released a statement in which she says that even though participated in the competition last year, she lacked the support from official bodies that she had this year which played a major role in her victory.

Earlier this year, Abrar also scored a bronze award at the 11th Arab Taekwondo championship which was held in Morocco.
