Tarek Hamdihas won a silver medal at the Men’s Karate Kumite +75kg at Tokyo 2020

In a heartbreaking end, karateka Tarek Hamedi, is bringing home a silver Olympic medal after being disqualified from the men’s over-75kg final due to a penalty.

Hamedi was leading on points when he threw a kick that resulted in a penalty.

His opponent, Saajag Ganzjadeh, from Iran has been awarded gold. as default.
