The Saudi team is bringing back the gold medal after beating Algeria in an astounding 85-81 at the annual Arab Men’s Basketball Championship.
According to the Gulf Daily News, our very own green team secured the win while the UAE finished last and Bahrain lost to Egypt 72-84 in the game for third place on Friday.

In a tweet shared via his official Twitter account on Saturday night, the Chairman of the General Sport Authority expressed his pride over the Kingdom’s many wins in the last year.
But he also specifically congratulated the Kingdom’s basketball team for “winning the Arab Cup”, referring to the players as heroes of Saudi Arabia- adding that the country deserved these achievements.
