The fabled Empty Quarter desert is one of the most barren and isolated deserts on the planet. There have been a few travellers in the past who have traversed through the inhospitable desert and have achieved worldwide fame.

And, now with the reformations taking place in the tourism sector, the Empty Quarter desert is again open for adventurous souls who want to take part in the journey of a lifetime.

In fact, the first of such journeys is taking place now.

Called Rakayib, the journey is surely a once in a lifetime experience for the participants.
