5 Fab Countries That You Can Actually Travel To Without A PCR Test

Avatar

Let’s face it, starting a vacation with PCR testing is a real bummer, and if the results don’t arrive on time, which is pretty common, you’re trapped. And, after all of the difficulty and extra PCR testing fees, if you do manage to travel to the place you’ve always wanted, guess what? Some countries demand PCR testing upon arrival, with some even requiring a required quarantine stay until the results are received.

Luckily, there are some countries that you can now travel to without a PCR test – provided that you are fully vaccinated though.

1. Egypt

No PCR test, no visa, and just a 1-hour flight – that’s as easy as international travel can get. However, unvaccinated children above the age of 12 will require either a negative PCR test performed within 72 hours of arrival or a fast antigen test performed within 24 hours after arrival.

2.UAE

One of the newest entrants on the list is the UAE. Considering that Saudis are one of the biggest tourists to the UAE, our long-delayed travel plans to one of our favorite countries can be back on the cards. Plus, Expo 2020 Dubai is in its last month, so you’d best hurry.

3. Turkey

If there was one place many of us had been missing in the pandemic days then it has got to be Turkey. Offering visas on arrival to Saudis coupled with breathtaking scenery, fine architecture and sumptuous food, what’s there not to love about Turkey. All passengers aged six and above have to fill out an online form within 72 hours before departing though.

4. Switzerland

Switzerland is ideal, especially for those whose under 18 children have not taken the jab yet as they allow entry to all non-vaccinated youngsters under the age of 18 to enter as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

5. Iceland

They’ve scrapped all their travel rules for tourists last week; that means that you can actually travel to Iceland without even taking a single jab of the Covid-19 vaccine and without even having to undergo a PCR test.

These entry requirements do change frequently so keep an eye on those updates and contact the embassy you’re travelling to before travelling.
