Asir is home to Arabia’s prized honey and there’s no better place to see, taste and feel it than this apiary called Honey Cottage that’s proving to be quite the tourist attraction in Rijal Alma.
The place is the brainchild of Engineer Muhammad Al-Alma’i who started bringing the local culture of honey harvesting to the foray about seven years ago.
