There’s a reason for Juan Antonio Pizzi’s pride over his team’s next-level performance lately

Each half of last night’s game resulted in a goal for the Green Falcons at the AL-Maktoum Stadium, in Dubai.

According to Arab News, the team’s Fahad Al-Muwallad scored within the first 12 minutes during the first half of the match alone while player Hussain Al-Moqahwi scored the second and winning goal.

This is the first time that the Kingdom has won the opening two games at the Asian Cup since 1996

Wowza!

After two defeats, including this one vs Saudi, Lebanon has to win the next match against North Korea to reach the following round.

‘Congratulations team, from Iraq’

People are wishing that the Saudi team win the cup eventually

Looking at their performance lately, this hope could soon come true.

“Thanks to the coach (Juan Antonio Pizzi) and to Turki al-Shaikh..”
