The Municipality of Makkah announced on Saturday that contractors of cleaning companies should provide winter clothing for its employees so that they are protected from the winter spells- taking place in the Kingdom lately.

Heavy thunder and rain showers have been ongoing across Saudi, especially in the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah and its neighbouring Jeddah.

Hopefully, it will result in the comfort and ease of employees who are hard at work, helping clean the streets.

Ten people died in Makkah as a result of the recent weather

Tragic numbers of deaths have been rising as a result of the recent weather in the Kingdom. On Thursday, The Civil Defence urged residents in Jeddah to stay indoors due to a storm that was predicted to make its way to the Red Sea over the weekend, reports The National.
