Saudi Introduced Tawaf Golf Carts In Makkah For Special Needs And Elderly Pilgrims
The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has rolled out a delightful addition to the Tawaf experience with the introduction of smart golf carts! Specifically tailored to cater to the needs of the elderly and pilgrims with special needs , these carts are now conveniently stationed atop the Grand Mosque.
Accessible through the entrances of Ajyad Escalators, King Abdulaziz Gate Elevators, and Umrah Gate Elevators, designated pilgrims can easily reach the golf cart station.
The carts are operating daily for 12 hours, from 4:00 pm to 4:00 am, giving ample time for all to enjoy the convenience and comfort it offers.
Priced at an affordable SR25 per person, inclusive of VAT, this service is exclusively designed for Tawaf
With a fleet of 50 carts, each accommodating up to 10 passengers, there’s plenty of space for everyone to embark on this remarkable journey. Tickets can be conveniently purchased from the points of sale located on the rooftop of the Grand Mosque, ensuring a seamless experience for all.
