A video posted more than 13 hours ago has already sparked social media outrage within the Saudi community. The video, which has amassed almost 5,000 views on Instagram, shows an 8-year-old boy driving a CAR on the highway in Saudi Arabia. 

And what’s worse?

It seems his father sits right beside him, in the passenger’s seat, while teaching him to drive. That’s pretty insane.

A passerby in another vehicle took this video 

It was shared by Alramsnet on Tuesday, and shows a child driving while being recorded by a random passerby who could not contain his anger at the seeming ‘irresponsible’ act.

What happened next?

The post on Instagram mentioned that traffic police officers stopped the owner of that vehicle and his license has now been suspended- for allowing a minor to drive.
