Saudi Arabia Just Broke A World Record And A LOT Of Falcons Were Involved In The Process

Falcons, yes! The King Abdul Aziz Falconry Festival just held the world’s largest falcon racing tournament.

It has received certification from the Guinness Book of Records for marking a new world record

The falcon racing tournament took place from January 25 to February 3 and involved a record 1,723 falcons competing for 10 days.

The festival included rounds for Saudi falconers and international rounds with 39 winners picked in total.

A total cash pot of prizes values at SAR 17, 630, 000 were in store for the participants who came from all over the world

The winners of each round are to receive SR500,000, while second and third places will get SR200,000 and SR100,000 respectively.
