Almost all of Saudi Arabia has been lashed by rains for almost a month now. The un-desertlike rains have altered the landscape in many places and given social media users a glut of viral videos.

One of the latest of such viral videos shows a herd of camels passing through an overflooded terrain.

The two men leading the herd try to calm the camels as they make their way through a haze of rain and vicious sandstorm.

The video was shot north of Riyadh in an area called Tumair by photographer Fahad Al-Osaimi.

Since first appearing on Twitter, the video has gone viral, which led several local news channels to air it as well.

As the rains continue to pour across the country the Civil Defense is continually sending out messages to all residents to stay away from valleys and flood-prone areas.

Seeing the video Twitteratis started sharing photos like these showing the harsh extremes that the camels sometimes have to bare

Another user posted a photo of what the desert in the region normally would like after the rains
