Summer is at its peak at the moment and temperatures around the country are hovering near the 50-degree mark. The weather makes it tough for the millions of pilgrims that visit the country during the summer season.

We recently came across this gem of a video and this is what supposedly happened. An elderly woman loses her shoes or slippers in Masjid Al Haram. Walking on Makkah’s streets without shoes is particularly tough given the weather conditions. Those who have experienced it know what we’re talking about here.

A security man sees the woman’s plight and offers her his shoes instead. He doesn’t stop there as he even goes on to escort the woman.

The video has got 15,000 likes on Facebook alone. Because who wouldn’t love an act of generosity like this one here? This is Saudi hospitality at its finest.
