This year, Saudi Arabia enters the Formula One calendar with a race in Jeddah. The site, which is located along the corniche, will see roads, buildings and other infrastructure built just for the event.

The work is well underway ahead of the event, which is set to take place on December 5 and organizers have produced a time-lapse film to show the progress.

In the video, you can see the track, stands and pit taking form.
