Watch: Saudi Arabia Turns Vast Desert Into Fertile Green Farmland
The northern part of Saudi Arabia has become a hub for fresh local produce. Al Jouf Province in particular with its vast olive and other fresh fruit farms is defying its desert surroundings. But it always wasn’t this way.
We recently came across this gem of a time-lapse video that shows how the place transformed from being a barren desert in 1984.
