Google Is Commemorating The 88th National Day By Sharing A Piece Of Saudi’s History As Its Logo

Avatar

Google has doodled (Get it? No?) its homepage’s logo with a fantastic tribute to the Kingdom for its 88th National Day.

The Google Doodle of the first Saudi stamp in 1934 now appears not just in Saudi but in other GCC countries too.

The choice for this design on the top search engine’s logo is quite a creative choice.

See it below.

Google Doodle presents the first Saudi stamp from 1934

The first stamp dates back to 1934, two years following the founding of the country.

It isn’t the first time Google’s homepage featured Saudi-related events or people either

If you check out the Google Doodle archives, you’ll come to find that the team at Google’s MENA region has made the country proud on more occasions than one.

One of its most recent features was for Saudi singer Talal Maddah’s 78th birthday in August.
