A Female Saudi Driver Crashed Into A Shop And A Bystander Was Severely Injured

Female drivers have hit the streets in all parts of the country and what comes part and parcel with car driving is accidents. One recent incident by a female driver came into the spotlight as she rammed her car straight into a shop.

According to the Gulf Business, the first-ever accident by a female driver in the Eastern Province has occurred on Thursday.

The incident happened in the town of Al Mubraz.

The woman was driving in a Toyota vehicle with her husband sitting in the passenger seat when all of a sudden she crashed into a shop. The car went a good 12 meters inside the shop.

She apparently hit the brakes and the accelerator at the same time.

CCTV footage of the incident has been posted on YouTube, which shows two men standing at the front of the shop, one of whom was knocked down by the ramming car.

Neither the woman nor her husband were injured by the accident.

However, an elderly woman shopper suffered minor injuries and a salesman was rushed to the King Fahd Hospital in Hofuf as he was severely injured.
