A Mixed Gender Dance Party In Saudi Was Busted And A Group Of Men And Women Were Arrested For It

Buraidah in the heart of Qassim is still a pretty much conservative place. One of its resorts recently held a dancing party that saw people of both genders in attendance.

According to online portal Slaati, 20 men and women were arrested for holding a dance party in a private resort in Buraidah.

Those caught are sentenced to anywhere in between four to eleven months in prison.

In addition to that, they have been fined a minimum of SAR 20,000.

The oldest among those caught was 47 years old.

The authorities gave out the sentences to deter them from doing such acts again.
