A New Saudi Nationalization Rule For Jobs In The Automotive Industry Has Been Put In Place
Car rental places will now start hiring Saudi nationals only starting March 18th. According to Arab News, Ministry of Labor and Social Development’s spokesman Khaled Abu Al-Khail, confirmed the decision to limit work in car rentals.
The nationalization process will include staff training and support from the labor and social development system. Parts of the training will include educating them on electronic and financial support, forums for career planning, assistance in inspection with nationalization comissions.
Fines can be given by joint inspection teams on facilities that will offend and prices of fines can increase as an offense is repeated.
