A Saudi Female Tourist Drowns To Death In Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is becoming a go-to destination for many Saudi tourists but unfortunately for one tourist, it was where she would drown to death.
According to the Sri Lanka Mirror, the body of a female Saudi Arabian tourist, who had gone missing after a rafting accident has been recovered in the Warathenna area.
The accident happened after a group of seven Saudi tourists went white water rafting in Sri Lanka’s Mahaweli River.
Their inflatable boat had topped at the Gohagoda area and all seven fell in the river.
Six of them were rescued successfully.
The 24-year-old university student, however, remained missing. Her body was found after a search operation was carried along the banks of the river.
