A Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Eurofighter Typhoon combat reportedly crashed into a mountain in Yemen’s southern region, leaving the pilot deceased. Pilot Lt Col Muhanna Al-BaizMahna al- Biz, was in a mission opposing the Houthi fighters when the incident took place in Al Wade’a district. 

The aircraft underwent a technical failure 

According to Saudi Press Agency, the aircraft had a technical failure during a CAS (Close Air Support) mission, al-Biz’s death followed that of a UAE pilot who was allegedly killed in another crash in Yemen, just last week.
