A Saudi Resort Was Closed Down As It Held A Mixed Gender Concert
A viral video shot in one of Jazan’s resorts shows a mixed concert being held. The video sparked outrage on social media.
According to Sabq News, authorities of the Jazan Province have immediately ordered the closure of the resort.
The event was licensed by the Saudi Tourism Authority and was announced on the official Twitter account of the Jazan Tourism Authority.
Apparently, some of the attendees thought that it was going to be a family-oriented event but they were in for a rude shock.

Ali Bin Moussa Zala, official spokesman for the Jazan authorities has said “The Emir of Jazan issued direct orders in the wake of the incident. These include investigating the entire event and holding anyone who committed violations accountable for them. He also ordered the closure of the resort and issued a temporary ban on entertainment events in the region.”
