Normally field trips are the most memorable and fun days for school children, but for this recent excursion by a school in Taif we’re not entirely sure about the fun part but it probably will be the children’s most memorable one.

According to Al Riyadh Newspaper, a teacher took his students to a local morgue to give them practical experience on how to ready bodies for burial. The children were apparently taught how to wash and clothe a corpse in it.

Someone took photos of the “unique” class and as expected they went viral.

The internet is divided on whether the children should have been taken to a morgue. The incident has promoted Taif’s education authority to launch an investigation.

The newspaper further reported that the teacher in question was in line for an excellence in teaching award.
