A Saudi woman who passed in a car accident in Saudi was reportedly forgotten in the crashed vehicle for five hours. Zahia bint Jaber Aseeri’s car got into a crash while en route to Abha with her son, another car hit theirs in the Al Aid triangle area, reports Okaz.
The woman passed away on site of the accident, while the son suffered injuries. Two other people were injured in the other vehicle.
After being transferred to Mahayel Aseer General Hospital, the son asked about his mother’s whereabouts to which ambulance and civil defence realised that her body had been forgotten in the crashed vehicle.
Okaz further adds that the ambulance team mentioned not noticing that the mother’s bod was lying in the backseat. Civil defence received no calls from the hospital about the mother, and her body (once found) was transferred to the morgue.
Investigations on the cause of the accident are still in process, as mentioned by Asir Al Shehri, the spokesperson of the Saudi Red Crescent Organisation.
The woman’s husband has stated that he forgives the driver responsible for the accident and is truly saddened by the loss of his wife of over 12 years.
