A woman in the Kingdom was surprised to find that her supposed salary of over FOURTEEN years was taken by a scammer without her knowledge. According to The Khaleej Times, a woman who had been attempting to apply for a position with the ministry as a teacher was repeatedly rejected for unknown reasons. 

The woman, who used to issue wages from a kindergarten in Makkah, worked there for two years before quitting and pursuing her masters degree back in 2001. Daily Okaz reported that the ministry’s system kept rejecting her job applications for teaching positions- unknowingly. 

After twelve years, however, the woman discovered that her name was logged with the ministry but that someone else had been making use of her salary for 14 years. The identity of the scammer is yet to be found. 

The woman is now calling on authorities to compensate the fact that she was repudiated employment because of the scammer’s use of her identity.
