Saudi preacher, Abdulaziz bin Saleh al-Tuwaijri, was shot dead in a Guinean village on Tuesday night. Following his martyrdom came a pouring amount of devastation from the social media world. 

Al- Tuwaijiri was reportedly shot after he organised a prayer that infuriated some people. A trending hashtag has been going around since the news of the killing circulated.

He was shot while on a motorcycle with another villager 

According to sources, the preacher was on his way to his car on a motorcycle when he was shot twice on the chest. People in the area believe it was due to a ‘prayer that wasn’t up to par with the taste of the local population’ (of whom are a Muslim majority). Security sources who spoke to the media said they were probably traditional hunters who ambushed al-Tuwaijiri. 

He died immediately at the scene and was taken to a hospital in Kankan.
