Attention fellow travelers, this is not a drill!
We may have just figured out the easiest and quickest way to visit Saudi Arabia. If you’re thinking of attending the Formula E race that is.
Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority (GSA) announced the details of the new electronic visa system, Sharek, which has now gone live and is ready for international race fans to take advantage of.
Impressed yet?
So if you visit Sharek’s official website, obtaining a visa is as easy as one, two and three. The fourteen-day visa only costs SAR640 ($170) and will allow to enter a full entrance to the event as well as mobility within specific Saudi territories, reports Saudi Gazette.
Et voila! You have your visa, it’s that simple.
The Ministry of Foreign affairs will confirm the eligibility within seconds. After your visa gets sent to your email, this can then be used to print out and enter the Kingdom.
Tickets for the Saudia Ad Diriyah E-Prix start at SAR395, with the grandstand and concert access- all other ticket options are available on its official website: www.sharek.sa/formulae
International travelers are limited to one ticket per visa.

Everything was so quick and easy! By the way, I’m still confused about the e-Visa validity period. Does yours say until 2018/12/27?
