Careem Is Going To Have To Raise Their Fares Due To New Petrol Prices

The smart car application Careem announced on Tuesday that they will now increase their prices to cope with the recent increase in petrol prices. According to Saudi Gazette, the hike of oil prices has already affected Careem’s drivers and the company due to Saudi’s cost of living. 

We are increasing our prices in the light of the new fuel prices which were increased by between 80 percent to 112 percent

Some trips might take less time, and won’t be worth with the petrol prices 

…Elyas added, so the increase in fare prices for Careem customers had to be reviewed in order for the captains and the company not to lose money.

They also announced it on social media
