Hotels Across Saudi Arabia Are Investing Heavily In Training Saudi Youth And This Chain Has Taken It A Step Further

Companies across the country are investing heavily in empowering Saudi youth many of whom will be employed instantly by the company upon graduating. Yes, instantly upon graduating.

International franchises are tweaking their training programs to adapt to the Saudi market at the heart of which are Saudi youth.

Recently Marriott saw the graduation of students from their landmark program called Tahseen.

The program focused on fast tracking the next generation of hospitality leaders.

Over 11 Marriott hotels participated in the program which runs for a minimum period of 12 months.

Tahseen was developed with Cornell University, which is considered one of the best in the hospitality education. Students of the program were given full exposure to the business of running a hotel.

On the graduation ceremony these students were given employment contracts from their respective hotels. What a way to graduate!

Graduates of this program are also in line towards upper management level positions later on in their careers.

The hospitality sector is a bright star in the nationalization program where Saudi youth are being employed in increasing numbers. One of the biggest chains in the country Marriott International employees 35% Saudi among its 5000 strong workforce.

Programs such as Tahseen will see to a seamless implementation of Saudization measures.

So if you are interested in joining the hospitality sector then you better apply fast as Marriot is currently recruiting candidates both internally and externally for the second intake of Tahseen, which begins in January 2019.
