Today is the first day of the new Hijri (Islamic Lunar) year and greetings and prayers have been getting shared across Saudi Arabia for the occasion.

The ways to commemorate the day differ with countries and cultures within the Islamic world and in Saudi Arabia, greetings are primarily shared to send blessings to everyone whether in person or on social media.

Here’s praying this year is one of blessings and good fortune for all!
