The General Entertainment Authority has spearheaded several entertainment activities in all different parts of the country. One of their most recent ones is a Quran recitation and adhan competition.

This competition was announced earlier in the GEA’s entertainment calendar, but the exact dates nor was the registration process listed on it.

Now, Turki Al-Sheikh who is the chairman of the GEA has announced details of the competition on his Twitter account.

The most notable thing about the competition is the SAR 12 million prize money attached to it.

Registrations are open till the 22^nd of July and the live show will run from the 24^th of August till the 24^th of September. You can register in the competition here.

According to a statement by Turki Al-Sheikh in January, the winner of the adhan competition will be allowed recite the adhan from the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
