Avatar

The Saudi government is leaving no stone unturned to encourage women from joining the workforce. One of their latest of such initiatives is an SAR 800 payout to those women with salaries of less than SAR 8,000.

According to Gulf Business, the 800 riyals financial assistance is a monthly transport allowance for those Saudi women working in the private sector.

This money will be handed out through the Saudi Human Resourced Development Fund’s Wusul program.

Apart from their monthly salary to be eligible for the scheme these women will have to be registered with Wusul for a maximum of 36 months. The financial assistance to these women will then be provided through private taxi companies.
