Good news for Saudis as The Shoura Council approved a suggestion to reduce the working hours to 40 hours per week, with a paid day for employees working in activities that is set up for localisation. According to Arab News, the decision was finalised on Wednesday following a deliberation session from the members of the House Committee of Social Affairs, Family And Youth by the Shoura Council’s Ministers.

The Ministry of Culture and Information was also asked by the Shoura Council to to upgrade the performance of electronic media to make it an effective national tool.

But… this applies to those who work in private sectors or a proffession that is targeted or localisation.
