The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) wants to fix this by holding Internet Service Providers to higher standards with increased transparency and wants all the customers to complaint if they are facing slow internet speed.
Complaints can now be lodged against the Internet Service Providers (ISPs)
Authorities have now written clear instructions on Fair Usage Policy and telecom companies in the kingdom have now been enhancing their performance in terms of broadband speed, connectivity, and services.
A program called MEQYAS has been launched to enhance transparency among Internet Service providers to provide better service to Internet users.
MEQYAS also has an Internet Speedometer Application (which is available in Google Play Store as well as Apple App Store) which can help people measure the speed of the Internet.
