The Annual Janadriyah Festival Is Soon To Come Back And Indonesia Is Going To Be The Guest Of Honor

Brace yourselves, the Kingdom’s biggest and brightest annual festival is making its return for the 33rd Janadriyah festival.

Every year the festival chooses a country to honor, it’s one of the ways that leaders of Saudi expand on its global outreach and discovering cultural synergies with other countries.

And this year, Indonesia will be the ‘guest of honor’ country, according to Arab News.

If you didn’t already know, the Janadriyah festival is a pretty big deal here

The annual festival celebrates the rich culture and heritage of Saudi, complete with camel races, exhibitions, food stalls, entertainers and more.

Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques King Salman is reportedly going to patronize Janadriyah’s opening ceremony, taking place on Dec. 31.

There’s going to a grand camel race among so many other things

Yup, it’s a thing. A grand camel race will take place among one of many other attractions within the 18-day festival. Activities like lectures, seminars and various culture events will also take place for all to enjoy.
