The Civil Defense Has Warned Of Heavy Rainfalls In Many Parts Of Saudi Arabia

The Civil Defense has sent out a warning that several regions of the Kingdom are expecting heavy thunderstorms in the coming days.

Warnings were announced on Twitter and also via SMS alerts

Regions expecting rainfall are Makkah, Al-Madinah, Riyadh, the Eastern Region, Hail, Al-Qassim, Asir, Jazan, and Al-Baha, while the northern region will be affected by moderate rains.

Predictions expect the rain between  Wednesday till coming Sunday.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense called on everyone to exercise caution and to avoid places that are likely to flood.
