If you’ve been on the receiving end of some suspect messages asking for your bank details or saying you won a million riyals, please note: they ARE too good to be true.
The Saudi techie, Abdulaziz Al Hmadi, shared a warning to residents on Twitter, asking them to report any suspicious messages or calls that they have been receiving.
In the tweet, Al Hmadi shared a phone number that residents can use to report the suspicious activity, hopefully reducing the outbreak of these scams.
