The drone was headed towards a civilian area in JazanThe spokesperson for the coalition stated that the drone was intercepted and destroyed at 9.06 p.m..

The attempted attack comes just days after the Houthi forces struck Abha airportlast week, wounding 26 people.

No casualties have been reported.
