Several online news reports have announced that Apple will have 100% full ownership once it invests in licensing within the Kingdom. Several months ago, Reuters announced the discussions that took place with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and international company owners about licensing in Riyadh.
Today, it seems those discussions aren’t all too far from reality. Apple is just one of THREE international companies that will settle in to Saudi Arabia with full ownership.
Amazon is also another of three international companies set to embark on extending itself to the Kingdom.

Apple and Amazon are in licensing discussions with Riyadh on investing in Saudi Arabia, two sources told Reuters, part of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s push to give the conservative kingdom a high-tech look.
A licensing agreement for Apple stores with SAGIA is expected by February, with an initial retail store targeted for 2019, said two sources familiar with the discussions.
