BREAKING: Saudi Is Going To Allocate $1.5 Billion To Help Rebuild Iraq

Saudi Arabia announced on that they will be allocating $1.5 billion to help reconstruct Iraq and finance the Kingdom’s exports. On Wednesday, the Kingdom decided to help out similar to the Emir of Kuwait who’s giving $1 billion in loans and another $1 billion for direct investments. 

There’s joint efforts from the Gulf countries in ensuring Iraq becomes a peaceful and stable country again

Following the 2003 US-led invasion of Iraq’s capital, the joint efforts of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and even Germany who is allocating $450 million hopes to restore Iraq back to its stability. 

This large assembly of international communities that are here today is reflective of the large loss that Iraq withstood in facing terrorism. Iraq cannot commence the mission of rebuilding itself without support, which is why we are all here today from all around the world, to stand by Iraq’s side.

The country needs billions more in donations

According to Arab News, Iraq qould need an overall amount of $88.2 billion from donors to get back up.
