The next host for the FIFA World Cup, to take place in 2028, has officially been announced. According to BBC, Canada, the U.S. and Mexico will won a joint bid rights to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup in all those countries, partly.

The word ‘FIFA’ started trending on Twitter, not just in the Kingdom but all over the world. Many are excited to hear that the established tournament will take place in North America, as well as Mexico.

BBC Sport reports that the tournament, already being referred to as ‘United 2026’ was selected by FIFA member nations. The three countries won 134 votes, as opposed to Morocco which received 65 votes.
