Saudi Arabia’s Interior Ministry said that four police officers were martyred during an attack on a police check point in Asir province.

Asir is a province in the southwest of the Kingdom.

The police reported that four more officers were injured in the clashes that followed the attack

The ministry added that police units chased the attackers, and captured 2 of them and a third was killed in the fire exchange that followed.

All those involved in the attack are Saudi Arabian nationals.
