Saudi’s first ever opera house will be built with the help of France in a new agreement, as announced by Arab News on Monday. The news comes a day after HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Paris on Sunday.
The Kingdom plans to utilise the French expertise in setting up the first national opera and orchestra to better modernise the Kingdom, as part of Crown Prince MBS’ Vision 2030 aims.

Today an agreement was signed with the Paris Opera to help Saudi Arabia set up a national orchestra and an opera.

His Royal Highness was welcomed at the airport by Foreign Affairs Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian. A little more than a dozen memorandums of understanding in different sectors like tourism and transport are planned to be signed between the two nations’ organisations, reports RFI.
