Houthis have claimed to behind in what is one of the first attacks on the Saudi oil infrastructure that much of the world is dependent on for its oil needs.
Saudi Aramco stated to CNN that there was “no damage to oil production, no oil spills or injuries.”
The damages were minor as per the Saudi oil giant and took place in two separate locations between Riyadh and Yanbu.

The drone strike on the Saudi pipeline facilities is, I believe, the first attack ever by an outside power on the Saudi oil infrastructure. The Iranians are clearly playing with fire.

A fire broke out following the attack which has since been contained as per the Saudi Energy Ministry. The drone attack comes just a day after two of Saudi Arabia’s oil tankers were sabotaged off the coast of the UAE.
1- The attack on pumping stations of the East-West pipeline in Saudi Arabia is significant. It reflects the realization that these pipelines replace the passage through Hormuz Strait. In other words, these pipelines reduce Iran’s ability to influence oil flow in the Strait pic.twitter.com/aQrBEjbgmQ
